Bradford Museums are taking you back to the 1950s, the year of the Queen's coronation, and are hosting a variety of activities throughout the bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. On Saturday, June 4th, the Bradford Industrial Museum will host a street party with outdoor games and a 1950s band. Everyone is welcome to dress up in 1950s attire (as well as the BIM team!) and bring a picnic. Machinery will also be running in the print and weaving galleries. Drawing and craft activities will be held in the museum on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Also, don't miss the "Platinum Record" Jubilee display, which features images from the archive from the Coronation and Royal visits.
