All of Moooi Carpets’s carpets use the groundbreaking high-definition Chromo inkjet printer and its accurate tones, combined with endless color combinations to create an interesting illusion of depth-if you need to be convincing, check out the Liquid Layer series .

When Marcel Wanders (the founder of Moooi in 2001) came into contact with the technology of digital printing on carpet materials more than 10 years ago, he realized that it was so groundbreaking that he felt that it needed his own space to grow. Instead of being absorbed. / In other places. Moooi Carpets was launched by Moooi in 2015.

Since then, each series launched has challenged traditional design in its own way, and challenged it with meaningful patterns-the brand's latest series is no exception. Cue the arrival of'Pluck their Petals','Lint','In the Meadow' and Bisanto.

Ferry Schiffelers picking their petals

Ferry Schiffelers founded his eponymous women's clothing brand at the age of 25. In 2018, Schiffelers graduated with honors from the design department of AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). His graduation series "Défilé de Deuil" ensured that he won the Lichting Award and was named the most promising graduate of 2018. In September 2019, Schiffelers presented his first independent series "Ladies Who Lunch" during AFW (Amsterdam Fashion Week). Before joining AMFI, he attended a four-year fashion/custom tailoring course to develop himself in the field of tailoring and technology. Schiffelers has successfully completed an internship in the fashion studio of Viktor & Rolf and Antwerp designer Tim van Steenbergen. His work has been published in Vogue, ELLE and Mirror Mirror magazines.

Combining fashion with design-this is a concept that we cannot accept in Hotel Designs-Schiffelers designed the "Pluck their Petals" series, inspired by the greatest love tragedy, whether he loves me or not. Multiple layers of tulle petals form a gradual color, creating a mysterious, romantic and dramatic dimension. The layering technique creates more depth and shadow in the crease, turning the carpet into a dreamlike destination, somewhere between dreams and nightmares.

Lint from Visser and Meijwaard

Visser & Meijwaard is a design studio located in Arnhem, Netherlands, focusing on product and scene exhibition design. The studio is run by Dutch designers Vera Meijwaard and Steven Visser who met at ArtEZ University of the Arts. As a design duo, they create unique but minimalist products from the aesthetic world of materials, colors and shapes. Their working methods are associative. Visser & Meijwaard has studied the new application of aesthetics hidden in everyday products by playing with materiality, background and scale, and obsessed with "form follows function". Their work ranges from furniture and lighting to textiles, ceramics and glassware. Visser & Meijwaard collaborates with brands such as Hermès, Linteloo and Pulpo Products. Their works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and fairs around the world, including London, Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Cologne and Copenhagen.

In the "Lint" carpet series, ribbons are woven into colorful graphic patterns to create bold line interactions. The design of'Lint' is inspired by the linear pattern of traditional tartan textiles, which is made by weaving alternating colored lines at right angles to the warp and weft. 'Lint' was created by playing with the material and size of the thread, and finding the right color to create contrast but at the same time complement each other.

Emma Larson on the grass

Larsson's In The Meadow series rugs are inspired by nature's never-ending miracles. The carpet has whimsical and abstract shapes, depicting the fascinating world of watercolor art. Bright and soft colors are an ode to the diversity of nature. In The Meadow, Larsson is committed to bringing nature into the room, into your space, just like ink in water.

The intensity of the color creates density while maintaining an ethereal feel. Every day we are surrounded by various colors, shapes, textures and patterns. At every moment of life, our senses are subject to the beauty that only nature can bestow on us. It gave us everything. It provides us with smells and smells, allows us to move on or calms us down. Spectacular colors fill our hearts with hope and light. Textures and patterns that amaze and deceive us. For artists and designers, nature is an endless source of inspiration. It has been this way for centuries, and hopefully it will be the same for the next few centuries. Nature is coveted and cherished because it is as close as the magic we will experience. In The Meadow, Emma Larsson shows the ethereal world of abstract watercolor shapes. Inspired by the beauty that nature surrounds us every day. Inspired by nature's endless variations of colors, shapes, patterns and textures. When we are outdoors, nature is all around us, but with In The Meadow, you can bring the magical beauty of nature indoors. The whimsical and abstract shapes, bright and soft colors fascinate every onlooker. Antonio Aricò is an Italian artist, designer and creative director. After obtaining a double degree at the Politecnico di Milano, he obtained a master's degree. His works focused on design and tradition, combining the fields of art, craft and design. The poetic integration of these theories and contemporary culture constitutes Arico's interdisciplinary practice today. He is known as the pioneer of a unique method of combining handicraft and self-production with industrial design. In every new project, he is close to design themes, and prefers to focus on romance, dreams and prototypes rather than just functions. In this universe, the coldness of industrialism has been replaced by our past poetry, fantasy and romance, and is vividly presented in the contemporary era.

Italy is not a country, but a sea of stories. Its imagination is endless magical stories surging from north to south and west to east. By shaking and mixing these stories, BISANTO comes to life, a series drawn from the intimate memories of a child playing with iconic souvenirs from his memories of ancient times. The idea is to transform Byzantine Italy into a carpet series through the use of drawings and colors. The result is that luxurious textile mosaics printed on carpets can represent new characters and worlds. Each piece is "secretly" inspired by real Italian historical masterpieces, which start with eclectic inspiration and eventually become a tradition of renovation. In fact, all IKONAS in the series hide secret inspirations from the history of Italian art in the north and south. The result is a series of carpets in which two-dimensional logos are mixed with 3D elements, mosaics become soft and flocked like velvet, and heavy precious printed jewels become as light as fabric. Aricò graffiti has become a vivid symbol, renewing the Italian tradition.
