The High Plains and Clearview library districts as well as the Loveland Public Library offer a variety of programs and activities for adults, teens and children of all ages.

Gather up some fun and interesting reading materials when the bookmobile makes a stop at 3 p.m. Monday at Founder’s Green Park, 1201 Grand Ave., Windsor. All ages are welcome to come out and see what the bookmobile has to offer.

Kids ages 5-12 have an opportunity to practice their reading skills at PAWS for Reading at 4:15 p.m. Monday in the children’s area of the Windsor-Severance Library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. Participants will be able to read a book of their choice to a licensed therapy dog and its owner. Masks will be required for all participants. Registration is required to attend. Adults, teens and children of all ages are invited to come and see what the bookmobile has to offer when it makes a stop at 6 p.m. Monday at Severance Shores Park, 1626 Shoreview Parkway, Severance.

Keep those little minds and fingers busy at Storytime and a Craft with Miss Nancy at 10 a.m. Tuesday on Facebook Live. The program is designed for children ages 0-6 and will include songs, stories and an age-appropriate craft. Kits for the craft project will be available for pickup at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor, while supplies last. Registration is not required to view the program. The bookmobile is scheduled to make a stop at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Windshire Park, 1520 Dartford Drive in Windsor. All ages are invited to come and check out the different materials the bookmobile has to offer.

The Teen Advisory Group, or TAG, is set to meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the large meeting room at the Windsor-Severance Library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. The group is open to teens ages 12-18 who are interested in helping the library plan programs and special events. The group is also a forum for group members to make their voices and opinions heard while earning volunteer hours. Registration is required to attend the meeting. Kick off the new year with the Family Art Challenge at 4 p.m. Friday on Facebook. The event will have families work together to create a piece of art made from recycled books that will be displayed at the library. Kits for the project will be available for pickup. G.L.O.W. will hold its first meeting of the 2022 year at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the large meeting room at the library at 720 3rd St., Windsor. G.L.O.W., open to teens ages 12-18,  is an inclusive youth group for teens with alternative identities and their friends. Masks and social distancing are required to attend. Parents can pick up a penguin storytime kit for kids beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Ave. in Greeley. Kits include penguin-themed facts and a craft to make at home. The Farr Non-Fiction Book Club is scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the library located at 1939 61st Ave., Greeley. The club is open to adults 18 and older. Teens wanting to learn more about zines are invited to attend Teen Zine Scene at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Ave., Greeley. The workshop will teach attendees how to make, share and trade zines with others. All supplies will be provided. Registration is not required to attend. Want to join a book club but pressed for time? Then the Short Story Discussion Club is right up your alley. The club is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday online. Members will be given a short story to read at the beginning of the meeting with a discussion to follow. The club is open to adults 18 and older and registration is required to attend. Start your exercise program right for the new year at the Walk Indoors program at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Kersey Library, 332 3rd St. Sheila Beckley from Colorado State University will be leading attendees through the low impact, low intensity, high fun class that will get in a mile in just 15 minutes. Pack the kids up and head over to the Eaton Library’s Live Storytime at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 132 Maple Ave. The storytime will take place in the library’s large meeting room and it is limited to the first 15 people. Make some space in your 2022 budget by learning about alternatives to cable television at the Cutting the Cable Cord seminar at 3 p.m. Wednesday online. The class will discuss streaming options, hardware and availability of channels and programs. Adults 18 and older are welcome to attend. Parenting Workshops: Talk and Play with Baby is scheduled for 6 p.m.  Wednesday at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden St., Evans. Kim Murza from UNC’s Audiology and Treasure Chest Program will be teaching attendees strategies for fostering language and social engagement. Parents of all ages are welcome to attend the program. Listen to stories, dance to music and bond with your children at the Lincoln Park Music and Movement event at 10 a.m. Thursday at 1012 11th St., Greeley. Café y Conversations allows adults to practice their English and Spanish with others. The meetup is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eaton Public Library, 132 Maple Ave. as well as online. Adults 18 and older are welcome to attend Let’s Move! At 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave., Greeley. The event will feature a variety of low-impact resistance band and chair exercises for all bodies and abilities. Registration is required and exercise bands will be provided. Learn about everything Google has to offer at Google Tools: Google Drive and Google Docs at 10 a.m. Friday online. The class, open to adults 18 and older, will go over formatting text, setting margins, line spacing, page numbers and more. The Lincoln Park Library will be offering use of its sewing machines to community members to use for personal projects from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at 1012 11th St. While this is not a formal class, there will be staff on site to help with any questions about the machines. The Kids 365 Learning Program kicks off on Monday at the library. The program will feature reading challenges and activities for children ages 0-11 that will help them earn prizes. The ReadMore Book Club is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the library located at 300 N. Adams Ave. The club will be discussing the book, “Rules of Civility” by Amor Towles. Shuttles, Hooks and Needles: Drop-In Fiber Arts Group is set to meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Beet Education Center, 201 E. 5th St. All skill levels of adults 18 and older who enjoy knitting, crocheting and tatting are welcome to attend the group to share their projects, get help or advice with their work and visit. Expand your knowledge of computers at the Computer Basics 201 class at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the iLearn Classroom at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The class will build on the previous Computer Basics 101 program with information on how to work with programs and apps, creating bookmarks, navigating the internet and more. Kids ages 4 and older are invited to come let their creativity fly at Brickmasters from 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday at 300 N. Adams Ave. The group will meet in Mrs. Runschmunkel’s Reading Room to construct a creation using the library’s LEGOs. Participants’ works will be displayed in the library for the entire month. T’ink, a creative writing club for teens ages 11-17, is scheduled to meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library located at 300 N. Adams Ave. Participants at the meeting will be given a series of writing prompts and themes to help them cultivate their passion for writing. Adults and seniors can drop off their laundry at the mobile laundry from 9 a.m. to noon in the library’s parking lot at 300 N. Adams Ave. Volunteers from Homeward Alliance’s Mobile Laundry Unit will wash, dry and fold items that will be ready for pickup by 3 p.m. the same day. Start little ones on the road to learning at Baby and Toddler Storytime at 10 a.m. Thursday at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The program, geared toward children ages 0-3, will include books, rhymes, music and more. Registration is not required to attend the program, however, space is limited. Kids of all ages and reading levels are invited to attend Waggin’ Tales at 4 p.m. Thursday. The event allows students to enhance their literacy skills and confidence by reading to a licensed therapy dog and its owner.
